There is no detriment to the structural integrity of the frame nor chassis. After the neck is cut and the fixture is installed, the frame may need repainted or powder-coated (Customer Preference). Adding rake to your frame and correcting the trail with raked trees is the ONLY way to maintain perfect factory trail measurements. No loss of suspension travel, no increase in spring preload, full clearance from fender to fairing and maintain a perfect 6.5” of positive trail!. The Shinko SRT 777 Harley-Davidson Touring Tire offers the same great grip the regular 777 does, but for the SRT 20″ wheel. Rated for higher mileage and more weight capacity, this is a front tire designed specifically for its purpose, unlike other fat front tire kits or conversions that use a rear tire on the front. A fat 6.5″ wide front tire (with a true front tire profile and tread) ensures superior handling. The wrap-around style Thicky fender shows off that fat front wheel perfectly.
